Hey guys! This is going to be a GREAT week. Don’t think so? Start believing it, and MAYBE it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy. It’s amazing how far a positive attitude can go.
Have you established a workout routine yet? No? Well what are you waiting for?! This week is your change to re-commit. We have some fun classic CrossFit WODs, as well as some interesting limited equipment WODs. Will there be burpees and air squats? Of course. Lots of them. But they are making you stronger, so don’t cherry pick your workouts!! You need to MOVE. EVERY DAY. Even if it’s just a walk around the block. I also know that we have been doing a bit of stress eating, and that’s okay! Use it as your motivation to run an extra mile, or do the cash out workout, or to try to eat better the next day. And don’t forget to add #dontweaken into your notes in BTWB. Let’s make all of those burpees count!
So here is my request guys: make a promise to yourself to come back stronger. I know we are all eating more, and maybe getting a little lax on our workouts. But that’s okay! But I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to stay healthy right now. While there is a lot going on in this world that we can’t control, we can control what we are doing with our extra time. I am choosing to workout my body and my mind. I am running more, lifting more, and I am reading more. I actually have time to read!! And at the end of the day, I count my blessings, and I encourage you to do so, too. At the top of my list, along with my family, I count my Forward Family. I can’t wait to see your faces, to HUG you all, and to coach you in classes again. You guys give me strength, give me hope, and keep me working hard. You also keep me accountable.
